Mode of Action
Bifenthrin 10% EC acts as a contact and stomach poison. It targets the nervous system of insects by interfering with the gating of sodium channels. This disruption leads to paralysis and ultimately the death of the pest. The formulation is designed to be effective upon either direct contact with the pest or ingestion of treated plant material.

The recommended dosage varies by crop and pest intensity:
Cotton: To control bollworms and whiteflies, a dosage of 320 ml per acre is recommended.
Rice: For stem borer, leaf folder, and green leaf hopper, the suggested dosage is 200 ml per acre.
Sugarcane: For termite control, 400 ml per acre should be applied.
General Foliar Application: A common recommendation is 20-25 ml per 15 liters of water.

Storage:
Store Bifenthrin 10% EC in its original, tightly closed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. It should be kept away from children, pets, food, and animal feed.
In case of poisoning, seek medical attention immediately. Treatment is symptomatic as there is no specific antidote. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and rinse the mouth with water.
