Mode of Action:
Propiconazole 25% EC functions as a Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI) fungicide. It is absorbed by the plant's leaves, stems, and roots and then transported upwards throughout the plant via the xylem. The fungicide works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption of the cell membrane leads to the suppression of fungal growth and ultimately the death of the pathogen. This systemic action ensures that the active ingredient is well-distributed within the plant tissues, providing long-lasting protection and preventing it from being washed off by rain.

However, the exact dosage can vary depending on the crop, disease severity, and local agricultural recommendations. For instance, in tea, the dosage may range from 50-100 ml per acre. It's recommended to repeat the spray at an interval of 14 to 21 days, depending on the intensity of the disease.

Avoid Contact: Prevent contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. If the product gets in the eyes, wash it out immediately with water.
Handling Practices: Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using the product. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
