Humic Acid 12.00% w/w:
Humic Acid 12.00% w/w is a premium liquid organic biostimulant and soil conditioner derived from high-quality Leonardite mines. It is a rich source of humic substances in a liquid form, making it easily dispersible and rapidly available to the plant root zone. It acts as a powerful chelating agent, unlocking nutrients locked in the soil and making them available to the plant. It is widely used to improve soil structure, stimulate vigorous white root development, and enhance the overall nutrient uptake efficiency of the crop.
Mode of Action:
Humic Acid 12.00% w/w functions through physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms:
Root Stimulation: It increases the permeability of cell membranes in roots, stimulating the rapid growth of "white roots" (feeder roots), which are responsible for nutrient absorption.
Nutrient Chelation: It acts as a natural chelator, binding with essential micronutrients (like Iron, Zinc, Copper) in the soil and converting them into forms that plants can easily absorb.
Soil Conditioning: It improves soil structure by increasing aeration in clay soils and water-holding capacity in sandy soils. It also increases the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of the soil, preventing nutrient leaching.
Microbial Activity: It provides a carbon source for beneficial soil microorganisms, increasing their population and activity.
Primary Uses and Target Crops:
This product is a universal biostimulant suitable for all types of agricultural and horticultural crops.
Key target crops include:
Vegetables: Tomato, Chili, Onion, Potato, Brinjal, Okra
Fruits: Banana, Pomegranate, Grapes, Citrus, Papaya, Mango
Cash Crops: Sugarcane, Cotton
Cereals: Rice (Paddy), Wheat, Maize
Plantations: Tea, Coffee
Application and Dosage:
Humic Acid 12.00% w/w is versatile and can be used via soil application, drip irrigation, or foliar spray.
The recommended dosage is:
Soil Application / Drip Irrigation (Fertigation): Use 1 to 2 liters per acre. This is the most effective method for improving soil health and root growth. Apply during the vegetative stage and fruit development stage.
Foliar Spray: Mix 2 to 3 ml per liter of water. Spray during the vegetative growth phase to reduce stress and improve greenness.
Seed Treatment: Mix 5 to 10 ml per kg of seeds (diluted in sufficient water) to improve germination rates and early seedling vigor.
Root Dipping: Dip the roots of seedlings in a solution of 5 ml per liter of water before transplanting to reduce transplant shock.
Target Benefits:
This product targets soil health and root physiology rather than pests.
Key benefits include:
White Root Development: Significantly increases the mass of secondary and tertiary roots (white roots).
Nutrient Efficiency: Improves the uptake of NPK and micronutrients, reducing fertilizer wastage.
Soil Health: Improves soil texture, aeration, and water retention capacity.
Stress Tolerance: Helps plants withstand environmental stresses like drought and salinity.
Yield Quality: Enhances the size, color, and taste of fruits and vegetables.
Safety Precautions:
While organic and non-toxic, standard safety practices should be followed.
Key safety recommendations include:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear gloves and goggles when handling the concentrate to avoid staining skin or eye irritation.
Compatibility: It is compatible with most chemical fertilizers and pesticides, but a jar test is recommended before mixing.
Handling Practices: Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product.
Environmental Safety: Safe for the environment and beneficial insects.
Storage:
Store the product in its original container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Keep the cap tightly closed to prevent leakage or evaporation. Keep away from direct sunlight, food, and animal feed. Keep out of reach of children.
